My train was cancelled today because of a “windscreen broken by a pheasant.” I don’t know if the pheasant was throwing breeze blocks off a bridge for a laugh, or whether he’d got into debt and was depressed, but either way it meant I had to stand around in the cold for an extra forty minutes. Not cool, pheasant!
